CamBoard - Display Multiple Webcams on Android
CamBoard is a simple app that allows users to display images from up to 12 webcams full screen. It is available for Android users and is free to use. The app is designed for static displays and is ideal for trade shows, display screens in public areas, and monitoring purposes. Users can choose to show 1, 2, 4, 9 or 12 images at once. The images are downloaded based on a user-defined timer.
The app uses Android's immersive mode, which hides the device's on-screen buttons. Additionally, users can choose the time delay between refreshing images. The app can prevent the device from sleeping while it is running in the foreground. It only downloads images when it is in the foreground. Users can switch between portrait and landscape mode, but this may not have the desired effect on certain devices such as the Amazon Fire TV Stick. CamBoard has been extensively tested on the Google Nexus Player and Amazon Fire TV Stick.
